While I have included prompts for my requests, please don't feel beholden to them if something I've mentioned, or my likes list, inspires you in a different direction! The prompts are just there to help in case you need some more specific ideas!

Ace Attorney

Franziska von Karma/Klavier Gavin
Child genius meets child genius! I have a very soft spot for this rarepair and would love any exploration of them as a couple, from getting together to being in an established relationship.

Prompts: bonding over their commonalities: perfectionism, being teen geniuses, having murderous relatives and the complications that come with that, both being prosecutors and their different styles, Franziska at one of Klavier’s concerts, solving a crime together, trying for a baby, poking fun at Klavier’s name.

Franziska von Karma & Miles Edgeworth
As you can tell from my requests, I ship the two of them as well, but I want to make it clear that I am absolutely happy with a purely gen, sibling take on their relationship! I love how complex the way they relate to each other is, how they've so obviously shaped each other in really pertinent ways, and I would enjoy seeing something set from any point in canon: what did they think of each other when they first met as kids? How did they deal with the fall out of Manfred's actions? What was Edgeworth's reaction when Franziska was shot? How does their relationship progress after the original trilogy or the Investigations games? Or even in the Apollo Justice era!

Franziska von Karma/Miles Edgeworth
I like to imagine these two as a co-dependent mess wherein Franziska ruthlessly pursues Miles to make him submit to her as a show of dominance, and Miles relents because (outwardly) it’s no skin off his nose, and he wants her to be happy, but on the inside, the guilt is eating him up!! Honestly, though, content for this pairing is so sparse I will welcome any take on them.

Prompts: drunken sex after Manfred’s funeral, working a case together (fraught with tension), somehow managing to build a relatively healthy life together despite all the challenges in their way.

Franziska von Karma/Phoenix Wright
Phoenix always gave me the impression he'd enjoy being stepped on a bit, and who better than to do the stepping than Franziska? He tried to impress her with flowers after she was shot, and if Edgeworth is to be believed, she was looking forward to whipping Phoenix silly upon seeing him again in T&T...

Prompts: begrudging respect, helping Phoenix through the aftermath of his disbarment, Franziska and Phoenix raising Trucy together, messy co-dependency culminating in a realisation they’re better off apart.

Dragon Age

Meredith Stannard; Meredith Stannard/Female Hawke
Even though Meredith is very much positioned as the villain of Dragon Age 2, I can't help but feel her life has been shaped by tragedy, which led to her very black-and-white views (the lyrium idol probably didn't help either, but I digress). I'm very interested in 'living long enough to see yourself become the villain' narratives, and would love any exploration of Meredith's rise to power and her subsequent downfall. Particular points of interest to me are reflections upon how what happened to her sister and family affected her world view, how her mentor in the Templars, Ser Wentworth Knell, influenced her, her involvement in the coup that led to Dumar being installed as viscount of Kirkwall, or honestly, her point of view of any of the events during DA2! If canon divergence is more your cup of tea, I'd love anything where Meredith ends up surviving the events of the game somehow, and must make amends for her actions.

If you choose to go the shippy route, I would love seeing Meredith bounce off a red or purple Hawke in a world where Bethany has joined the Circle! Does Hawke end up involved with Meredith because she wants to keep a closer eye on Bethany? Does Meredith blackmail her somehow? Or do they end up bonding over having similar opinions on mages?

Loghain Mac Tir; Loghain Mac Tir/Female Hawke
Loghain is one of my perennial faves, and I really would love anything that explores his regrets, as I'm sure he's got quite a few of them! I particularly enjoy it when characters are allowed to be flawed and biased, the way Loghain so obviously is. I know I've chosen Loghain/Female Hawke as a possible pairing for him, but that's only one of my favourites out of many options! If you choose to ship him with someone else, I'm particularly interested in his relationships with his wife, Celia, or with Rowan and/or Maric, or even potentially Morrigan, if they do the Ritual together. That all being said, I would love gen stuff with him, too, so don't feel the need to write an actual ship at all!

Insofar as Hawke/Loghain goes, I'd love to see them bond while they're working together investigating the Grey Wardens. If you're going to use first names, I'd prefer their defaults. My favourite Hawke for this pairing is a Red Hawke who sided with the templars (they can bond with Loghain over making difficult decisions that led them to be ostracised), but other configurations are more than welcome, too. I'm probably least interested in a Blue Hawke, overall, but if you have a really good idea for them, go ahead!

(Also, any indication of the ramifications of their Fade visit would be loved. Maybe one of them tries to stage a rescue attempt!)

Female Cousland/Anora Mac Tir
Give me the sword lesbians that Bioware has denied me for so long! I love the idea of the two most powerful women in the nation defying societal expectations to rule alongside each other. I would prefer they not be romantically involved with each other prior to the Landsmeet.

Possible ideas: reflecting on how they’ve changed since they were young, Cousland and The Calling, deciding on a possible heir, lazy mornings in bed together, frantic sex after a near-death experience.

Kim's Convenience

Janet Kim/Gerald Tremblay
At time of writing, there's only one episode left for the series, and I can't believe it's coming to an end so soon! I admittedly was taken back a bit by Janet and Gerald's kiss at the end of season 4 because I didn't see it coming at all (they're such good friends!), but I totally expected them to resolve it somehow in the fifth season, and nope. The idea of them as a couple has definitely grown on me since then, and I would love to see them navigating the transition from friendship to relationship. Bonus points for the reactions of the rest of Janet's family, and honestly, I would love a guest appearance from Gerald's too, because his anecdotes about his mother and stepfather are always hilarious and terrifying.

Janet Kim/Tamson
Janet has now kissed TWO ladies on this show, and I am here for any queer rep I can get my hands on! I was so excited to see Janet exploring her sexuality, and I'd love to see her further develop her relationship with Tamson, and maybe even bring up her relationship with her parents (regardless of whether she chooses to label her identity or not!) For this prompt especially, I'd also been keen for any genderqueer/nonbinary readings of Janet, because just... everything in that episode was giving me all sort of vibes, we know Janet canonically knows about the existence of nonbinary people, and look I'm just sad this series is ending and it looks like we won't get any further development in that area.

Mass Effect Trilogy

Jack/Miranda Lawson
I love how Jack and Miranda's mutual dislike of each other grows into a begrudging sort of during the effects of Mass Effect 3. Do they decide to resolve their sexual tension in ME2? Hook up during/after the Citadel party in 3? How do they react to the ending of the series and what effect does it have on their relationship going forward?

Miranda Lawson/Female Shepard
Miranda might have been genetically engineered to be perfect, but then Shepard was reconstructed to be humanity’s salvation by Miranda herself. How does Miranda reconcile these two factors?

Prompts: creative use of biotics, testing out the extent of Shepard’s cybernetics, post-game reflections upon their relationship (whether Shepard lives or dies), musing on what it means to be ‘human’, Shepard and Miranda getting to know Oriana better.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Alec Ryder
I love how complex a character he is and how controversial his actions were. I’m honestly here for any exploration of Alec as a character, whether that be pre-canon or in an Alec-doesn’t-die AU.

If you choose to pair him with anyone, I just ask that you avoid Dr. Carlyle, but other than that, let your mind run wild with possibilities!

Prompts: Alec doesn’t die and Ellen is revived, how Alec and Ellen met, Alec’s childhood and how he ended up joining the Alliance, becoming an N7, going through the Mass Relay for the first time, the First Contact War.

Female Ryder/Cora Harper
Outtakes from their relationship (whether they follow Scott’s romance path or take a different route), canon divergent AUs where they had met and gotten to know each other before the Initiative… I’m here for it all!

Prompts: gardening, falling in love, first times, Ryder telling Cora about her dad’s memories (and comfort ensuing), Cora’s reaction the times that Ryder dies.

Female Ryder/Liam Kosta
I'm really feeling AUs for this pairing at the moment. Perhaps something mundane, like a coffeeshop or college AU? Or a timeline divergence where neither of them go to Andromeda and are left behind on Earth during the Reaper War? Soulmate AU? Heck, AU them into your favourite fairytale; your imagination's the limit!

Alternatively: Ryder tells Liam about what they learnt from looking at their father’s memories. Comfort ensues.

Jien Garson/Sloane Kelly
I would love some canon-divergence where Jien isn't presumed dead and instead lives to see Andromeda. How does this affect the Initiative's morale? How does Sloane assist Jien in painting her masterpiece? What steps are required for them to admit their feelings to one another? Alternatively, I'd love Sloane investigating Jien's 'death' under any circumstances (whether the events of Nexus Uprising happen the same way they do in the book or not). Of course, I'd prefer it if Jien was found alive at the end!

Selfie

Eliza Dooley/Henry Higgs
Another TV show taken from us too soon! I could have watched many more seasons of these two together, they just have such amazing chemistry, and I'm heartbroken that there was no on-screen resolution to all that tension! Does Henry decide to make something of the skater's kids advice? (NO FEAR!!). Please, I need it. I would also love anything where either of them meet (more of) each other's families, because they're both such private people and I can't help but feel like we'd get different perspectives of them in that context!
